So, wow people. I haven’t done a round up of my holiday treats in 3 years. I think it is long since time for a new one with lots of yummy, festive and wonderful treats that I’ve made in the past year. There are loads of cookies, cakes, bars and a lovely pie. There are no bake treats to save your oven room for the meal with truffles, chocolate cups, and of course my recipe for peppermint bark. There are even two yeasty treats for show stopping Christmas morning breakfasts with my chelsea bun christmas tree and homemade almond croissants. They can each be made and formed the day before up to the point where they have to sit for the final proofing. At that point refrigerate them on the trays overnight. Then in the morning just let them sit out for an hour for the final rise, bake them and finish them! They all are so perfect for either gifting or serving at the table. Hope you enjoy this sweet list!
Salted Caramel Thumbprint Cookies
Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bark
White Chocolate Pumpkin Pie Truffles
Triple Chocolate Zucchini Muffins
Coconut Almond Butter Chocolate Cups
I hope this round up helps you out and gives you inspiration as you wrap up your plans this week and bake for your friends and loved ones. Enjoy!! xoxo
Gimme peppermint bark and I’ll be yours forever! I love the stuff! Great post, Leigh!
Hahaha, thanks very much Marta!!
Oh my goodness my mouth is watering, I need all the holiday treats!! Yum!
Thanks very much!!
Yum, all these look so good! Last night I tried to break out of my cookie rut by making snickerdoodles, but every recipe I found required cream of tartar – which of course we didn’t have. So we made chocolate chip cookies yet AGAIN. Hahaha!
Oh I’ve never used cream of tartar in my snickerdoodles! Didn’t know it was a thing. You can’t go wrong with chocolate chip though, happy baking!!
I thought I was done until I saw all these goodies again! Goodness, these look wonderful especially the coconut almond butter cups. Can I ever say no? No 🙂
Haha, thanks so much Sheila!!
Well, now I’m drooling! I wish I had the time (and caloric intake) to make every single one of these! Not sure how to narrow it down!
Ha, it is a really good thing that I pack them all up and get them out of my sight before I can eat to many cookies!!
