My husband and I love to wander around Princeton sometimes to shop, grab a drink together and just catch up. On one of these wanderings we discovered the most incredible spice shop on a little side street. Walking into Savory Spice Shop for the first time was like walking into a candy or toy store for a child. I was in heaven. There was so much to look at that I didn’t even know where to begin! It quickly became my favorite store to stock my spice cabinet.

![One of my personal favorite sections is the baking section. The cinnamons, sugars and spice blends have taken my desserts to a new level for sure!](https://i0.wp.com/jeanieandluluskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/046-e1446240079971.jpg?resize=688%2C457&ssl=1)

There is just not enough room in this post to go into the selection in this shop. There is every kind of international spice imaginable like curries, chili powders, and adobos. I love the culinary florals and dried herbs there too like lavender, rose, hibiscus and herbs de provence. The best part though is that the prices at Savory Spice Shop are reasonable, especially considering the quality. Wandering in on a whim has changed my culinary life! If you’re ever in downtown Princeton you will definitely want to check them out. Savory Spice Shop is located at 15 Spring Street, Princeton NJ. You can also find them on the interwebs at www.savoryspiceshop.com. Enjoy friends, and always keep life delicious (and well spiced)!

Thanks for the scoop on what appears to be a dreamy store. I will definitely check them out on the web. Grocery store spices are so disappointing.
I totally agree! I love that if I can’t make it to the store in Princeton I can order what I need right from their website 🙂
