It is berry season and I am so happy!! The weather is getting nicer, the birds are singing, flowers are blooming and I feel the fog of winter lifting. It also means that I want to eat a little lighter and make sure that I take full advantage of the bounty at my farmer’s market. So I have traded in my potato chips and popcorn for these amazing and super simple little frozen yogurt blueberries. They’re such a satisfying and nutritious snack!
The tray of frozen yogurt blueberries needed to go into the freezer for a couple of hours to become completely solid. That was all there was to this easy, wonderful snack! They were so refreshing and yummy to nosh on instead of chips with zero guilt. Hope you all love them too! xoxo
It's berry season and I am loving it!! These frozen yogurt blueberries are such an incredible, simple and nutritious snack that works any time of day.
- 1 container vanilla Greek yogurt 5.3 ounces
- 1/4 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pound fresh blueberries
-
Get out a sheet tray and line it with parchment paper. Then stir the yogurt, honey and cinnamon together. Use a toothpick to dip each blueberry in the yogurt mixture and then nudge it on to the tray. Keep going until the yogurt mixture is all used up. You may end up with blueberries leftover depending on their size. Freeze the tray for at least two hours, then transfer the frozen yogurt blueberries into a freezer bag and seal them. Keep them in the freezer to snack on whenever you want!
