Banana Almond Butter Popsicles

In this hot weather it is ALL about frozen treats, am I right? My husband Marc absolutely lives for ice cream. It’s his favorite food in the whole world. So when the temperatures rose this week, I made a much healthier, leaner version of ice cream for him with these amazing yogurt based banana almond butter popsicles! They were so ridiculously easy to make that it could barely be called a recipe.

All I did was blend all of my ingredients in my food processor until it was completely smooth. There was loads of yogurt, almond butter, bananas, a touch of cinnamon and honey to naturally sweeten them.
The mixture ended up being the perfect amount to fill up my 6 popsicle molds. I love it when that happens! Then I just let them freeze for at least 3-4 hours to solidify. I told you these babies were simple!

Once they froze, I couldn’t wait to try one with Marc. He went nuts for them and so did I! They were really cooling and refreshing but all of the ingredients also made them substantial and flavorful. The almond butter and banana worked so well together. Hope you all love this easy summer treat too! xoxo

These banana almond butter popsicles are a refreshing and satisfying summer treat with Greek yogurt, banana, almond butter and honey for natural sweetness!

Ingredients
  • 3 whole bananas
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
  1. Set up a food processor and combine all of the ingredients in its bowl. Puree it all until it is creamy and completely smooth. Evenly distribute the mixture to fill up 6 popsicle molds. Freeze them for at least 3-4 hours to solidify. Then just serve them as you crave them and enjoy!!

    1. I know this for a fact, because the first thing my husband said when I made this was that he was going to have them for breakfast and I was a cool wife for making breakfast popsicles, hahaha :-).
