In this hot weather it is ALL about frozen treats, am I right? My husband Marc absolutely lives for ice cream. It’s his favorite food in the whole world. So when the temperatures rose this week, I made a much healthier, leaner version of ice cream for him with these amazing yogurt based banana almond butter popsicles! They were so ridiculously easy to make that it could barely be called a recipe.
Once they froze, I couldn’t wait to try one with Marc. He went nuts for them and so did I! They were really cooling and refreshing but all of the ingredients also made them substantial and flavorful. The almond butter and banana worked so well together. Hope you all love this easy summer treat too! xoxo
These banana almond butter popsicles are a refreshing and satisfying summer treat with Greek yogurt, banana, almond butter and honey for natural sweetness!
- 3 whole bananas
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
-
Set up a food processor and combine all of the ingredients in its bowl. Puree it all until it is creamy and completely smooth. Evenly distribute the mixture to fill up 6 popsicle molds. Freeze them for at least 3-4 hours to solidify. Then just serve them as you crave them and enjoy!!
I love the concept of your blog, what a beautiful tribute! Now these popsicles look amazing, I have to make them for the boys I nanny. Thank you so much for the recipe!
