Summer means lots of refreshing frozen treats to cool off and have fun. I love popsicles so much because they are perfect to enjoy one handed on a hot night in the backyard. It’s even more fun to make my own popsicles with ingredients I can pronounce. That’s where these simple and incredible creamy peach popsicles came in. They only involved 4 ingredients and my handy dandy popsicle molds. I loved how incredibly simple they were!
The creamy peach popsicles needed to freeze for at least 4 hours, but I just left them overnight. Then Marc and I popped 2 of them out of their molds and enjoyed them on the back porch! Oh my goodness, they were so refreshing and flavorful. Those juicy, seasonal peaches worked so well with the yogurt for the ultimate treat. They also were a pretty guilt free way to satisfy my sweet tooth. Hope you all love them too! xoxo
These creamy peach popsicles are so refreshing and seasonal for the perfect summer treat! They also could not be easier to make.
- 4 whole peaches pitted and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt
- First, bake the peaches. Pre-heat the oven to 400 and get out an 8 x 8 baking dish. Combine the peach slices, brown sugar and cinnamon in it and stir them all together well to coat the peaches. Bake them for 10-12 minutes to make them tender and juicy. Take them out and let them cool for a couple of minutes while you set up a food processor. Pour the peaches into the food processor bowl with the greek yogurt and puree it all together completely until it is a smooth, uniform liquid. Fill 5 popsicle molds to the brim with the liquid and let them freeze for at least 4 hours, or up to overnight. Serve them when they are frozen for a refreshing treat!
